31 Officials of National Water Supply and Drainage Board visited to Ranaviru Apparel(RVAPL) on 28 Dec 2017, with a view of learning more about the RVAPL and properly implemented 5-S concept .

The visiting group of staff members, were warmly welcomed by the Deputy Commandant on behalf of the Commandant and all ranks of RVAPL on arrival to the camp and guided them to Conference Hall to brief the day’s itinerary.

Meanwhile, the presentation conducted by Major Nishantha Perera, Senior Production Manager- RVAPL educated them on the historic value and importance roles as the only garment production factory in the Army as well as 5- S concept.

Later, they were taken on a guided tour around the factory premises and the Model Farm Village (Govi-gammanaya) by the officers and Senior non commissioned officer of RVAPL as the final event of the day’s programme

Senior Officers, Officers and several other ranks participated in the event.
