Troops of Alawwa Factory serving under the Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Headquarters at Yakkala organized an alms-giving event on the instructions of Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake , Commandant – RVAPL, to invoke blessings on Troops of RVAPL and the Army, on last week

The alms ( Heel Daana ) was offered to 27 Buddhist monks of Sri Rewata Piriwena of Galle who arrived to the Factory premises at the invitation of Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake , Commandant – RVAPL while Buddhist monks were on an educational tour to Trincomalee area on 5 Mar 2018.

Officers and Other Ranks of Alawwa Factory organized the event under supervision of Factory Manager - Alawwa.

On the same event members of the Maha Sangha blessed all members including differently able troops serving the RVAPL and the Army as well as transferred merits to the fallen War Heroes.
