TROOPS OF RVAPL ORGANIZE A 'BODHI POOJA' PINKAMA
All troops including differently able troops serving at the Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) – Yakkala together with civilians living around the camp took part in a 'Bodhi Pooja' Pinkama organized by the Administrative Staff ,on the instructions of Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake, Commandant, RVAPL under the guidance of Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera Deputy Commandant got underway on wednesday (18.07.2018).

The simple religious ceremony, including a ‘pirith’ chanting session delivered by Ven. Maharawela Mudithawansa Thero of Sri Jayawardenaramaya, Papolgasdeniya, Yakkala was held, under the supervision of Commandant - RVAPL at the camp premises in Yakkala.

The ‘Bodhi Pooja’ Pinkama was conducted in order to transfer merits to fallen War Heroes and invoke blessings on serving troops and civil employees of the RVAPL as well as to inspire the troops in the Ranaviru Apparels for religious activities.

A large crowd including the Commandant, Deputy Commandant and Factory Manger together with senior officers, officers, other ranks, civil employees in the RVAPL and Civilians of the area participated in the event.
