FOURTH PRODUCTION LINE OF YAKKALA FACTORY AND SIXTH PRODUCTION LINE OF ALAWWA FACTORIES WIN BEST PRODUCTION LINE AWARDS
All troops including differently able troops serving at the Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL) Factories at Yakkala and Alawwa took part in award giving ceremonies, organized at the respective Factory premises by the Administrative Staff of both Factories to felicitate their fourth production line and sixth production line who emerged as the best production lines of the month, were held on 01 August 2018.

Events were organized on the instructions of, Brigadier Senaka Dassanayake, Commandant- RVAPL under the guidance of Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera Deputy Commandant and Lieutenant Colonel Chaminda Thibbotuge, Factory Manager – Alawwa.

This new project was launched on a concept given by the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army and the Chairman of Board Management (BoM) of Ranaviru Apparel ( RVAPL) , Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana in order to select the best production line of the month after a special survey on how they remain committed as a team to the cause and produce high quality uniforms with high efficiency rate during the assessment period.

In the meantime, the deputy Commandant of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL), Brigadier Kapila Ranaweera gave away a Trophy for Best Production Line of month of July to the forth production line Manager serving at Yakkala Factory and its supervisor.

Later, in a brief address to the occasion after award of trophy to best production line of the month Deputy Commandant extended his praise and appreciation to all the members in fourth Production Line while commending them for their quality performances.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Chaminda Thibbotuge, Factory Manager – Alawwa gave away the Trophy for Best Production Line of Alawa Factory of the month of July to the six production line Manager serving at Alawwa accompanied by its supervisor and appreciated all the members while encouraging them to continue their quality performances.

A large gathering of senior officers, officers, other rankers and civilian work force, attended the awarding ceremony.
