The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers showcased it’s combat engineering and construction capabilities under taken thus far in pursuance of national development during the “Inikbithi Heta” exhibition held at Bodhiraja College Embiliptiya. It also featured the inherent capability of the Corps to superimpose engineering with management skill to deliver high return on investment.
The exhibition was planned and managed by the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering Embilipitiya and a mammoth gathering of enthusiastic people witnessed the unique and silent service rendered by Sappers to the nation building process. Humanitarian Demining, Field Engineering Tasks, Bomb Disposal Tasks, CBRN activities, nation building projects and many other activities carried out by sappers during the conflict and post conflict periods were showcased. The exhibition was held from 1 October 2018 to 6 October 2018.
