Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha AGM Held

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (CR-SVB) was recently held at the Commando Regimental Centre at Ganemulla, chaired by Mrs. Nimali Ranathunga, Chairperson CR-SVB.

The event commenced by reciting the Seva Vanitha anthem and observance of a two-minute silence in memory of fallen War Heroes followed by presentation of the budget report.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to various welfare projects that were conducted and yet to be implemented for the benefit of War Heroes and their families were extensively discussed.

As a part of this event, a dog display was also held by the troops of the Commando Regiment. Meanwhile, a beauty culture programme got underway at the same location in coordination with the Army Seva Vanitha Unit.
