The 14th Annual General Meeting of the Gajaba Regiment - Seva Vanitha Unit (GR-SVU) got underway on Monday (1) at the Gajaba Regiment HQ, chaired by Mrs Janaki Liyanage, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU).
Members of the ASVU Executive Committee attended the meeting which appointed office-bearers for the coming year. Mrs Janaki Liyanage in her review of the progress of the past one year and tabled the planned programme of work in the year 2022 - 2023.
Several projects of welfare nature were proposed and taken up for discussion during the AGM. Welcome address and the vote of thanks were proposed by two senior ASVU members before the gathering had a socialization segment towards the end of the meeting.
