Concerned about current economic crisis, Dr (Mrs) Harshini Bothota, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAC-SVB) together with its members give away a stock of essential items, each pack, worth Rs. 5,000/= to 100 pregnant wives of SLAC soldiers and civil employees of the SLAC.
Using SVB funds, those essentials were delivered either to their homefronts or respective hospitals where they are admitted for delivery. The distribution took place at respective units to suit the needs of those beneficiaries.
