Differently able children of Army personnel serving the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) were the recipients of SLASC Seva Vanitha patronized hearing and medical aids, modern wash room accessories, school needs and wheelchairs on 01st October 2023 on account of the World Children's Day.
The distribution of those incentives took place at the SLASC Regimental Center at Panagoda following a suggestion made by Mrs. Thushari Wanigasekera, Chairperson, SLASC-SVB.
Accordingly, 15 selected children with physical disabilities were given away drugs, essential food items for their nutrition, dry food rations and milk powder packs with the financial assistance provided by the SLASC Seva Vanitha members on the occasion.
The Chairperson, SLASC-SVB joined as the Chief Guest of the distribution event. Other executive members of the SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch also were present.
