Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC - SVB) organized a donation program at the ‘Sukitha’ Handicapped Children’s Home in Galpatha, Horana on 07 January 2024, under the guidance of Commander Forward Maintenance Area (N), Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, and the Chairperson of SLAOC - SVB, Mrs. Iresha Fernando.
The program commenced with a delicious lunch, accompanied by an entertainment session for the 40 children in attendance. Moreover, essential gift items were donated to children. Mrs. Malinda Gunawardhana and the family of retired Colonel Upul Gunawardhana also contributed by donating gift items and dry rations for the use of ‘Sukitha’ Handicapped Children’s Home.
