The President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) and Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, recently paid a visit to the ‘Mihidu Seth Madura’ Wellness Centre in Attidiya on 31 January 2024.
During her visit, the President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit had a cordial interaction with the resident War Heroes at ‘Mihidu Seth Madura’, inquiring their wellbeing and the progress of their recuperation and distributed gift packs among them.
Furthermore, the Commandant of 'Mihidu Seth Madura’ Wellness Centre invited the President, ASVU to declare open the newly constructed Ayurvedic ‘Pancha Karma Treatment Centre’ at ‘Mihidu Seth Madura’ Wellness Centre premises. Also, the President ASVU gave away financial scholarship to one of War Heroes’ children for his education. Afterward, Mrs Janaki Liyanage, the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit together with senior members of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch offered refreshments to the residential War Heroes. Before departure, the President, the Army Seva Vanitha Unit also, appeared for a group photograph with the resident War Heroes.
Senior members of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
