Sri Lanka Signal Corps - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC-SVB) conducted a special welfare programme to donate essential items for children with special needs of Officers and Other Ranks of SLSC under the instructions of Mrs. Ganga Herath, Chairperson of SLSC-SVB on 03 February 2024.
The Chairperson of SLSC-SVB together with members of SLSC-SVB reached each child’s doorsteps and delivered essential items packs including children's diapers, milk powder and medicine. Additionally, an air mattress was also given to each of them. The selected group of recipients consisted six children who are confined to homes due to their inabilities in walking, speech and schooling.
