Military Intelligence Corps - Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB), in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society in Colombo, organized a medical camp for civilians in Karandeniya area on 26 March 2024 at the MIC Regimental Centre.
The project was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Dilupa Peiris, the Chairperson of MIC-SVB. Major General W.H.K.S. Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, the Chief of Staff and Colonel Commandant of MIC, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
During the event, 288 civilians were screened at the medical camp, and those with weak eyesight were provided with spectacles. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and members of MIC-SVB were also present at the event.
