The Gemunu Watch - Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) organized a Seva Vanitha Fair at the Kuruwita Public Stadium on 11 April 2024 on account of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2024.
The fair included a large number of stalls offering a wide variety of groceries, stationery, and household items, presented by GW Battalions and local traders in the area. The event was arranged under the guidance of Major General S.W.B Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc, the Colonel of the Regiment of GW, and Mrs. Manori Welagedara, the Chairperson of GW-SVB.
A large crowd of Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and residents in the area visited the fair.
