The Corps of Engineer Services Seva Vanitha Branch (CES-SVB) organised a breast cancer awareness programme on 25 June 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda, under the guidance of Mrs Anupama Rathnayake, Chairperson of CES-SVB.
The session was conducted by Dr. Lanka Dissanayake and her team from the Indira Cancer Trust, Maharagama. The team provided valuable insights on early signs and symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of self-examination using the TLC method, along with a practical session.
Around 120 individuals, including senior Seva Vanitha members, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
