Army Chief and ASVU Chairperson Visit Pallekele Viru Kekulu Pre-school

Under the patronage of the Commander of the Army and the Chairperson of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a special visit and inspection of the Pallekele Viru Kekulu Pre-school, operated under the administration of the ASVU, was conducted on 27 June 2025.

On arrival, the Commander of the Army and the ASVU Chairperson were warmly welcomed by two pre-school children with the traditional offering of a bulath hurulla (betel sheaf), signifying respect and hospitality.

During the visit, they toured the pre-school premises, engaged in friendly interaction with the children and shared moments of joy with both students and staff.

The delegation also offered valuable guidance and suggestions regarding the future development and enhancement of the pre-school's educational and infrastructural facilities.

Before concluding the visit, donations were distributed to the pre-school and its children, adding a meaningful gesture of care and support to the occasion.

Commander, Security Forces (Central) and his spouse, the General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division, the Colonel (Coordination) of the ASVU, along with Senior Officers and members of the Seva Vanitha Unit were present at the event.
