Housing Project Launched for Needy Family in Hingurakgoda

Under the guidance of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, troops of the 7th Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery launched a house construction project for a needy family in Hingurakgoda. The foundation-stone laying ceremony took place on 04 July 2025, in line with the Clean Sri Lanka Project.

Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery graced the event as a distinguished guest.

The initiative is made possible through a generous donation by Mrs. Zoysa Weerawardena in memory of her late husband, Mr. Preethi Weerawardena.
