ASVU Donates ICU Beds to National Hospital for Respiratory Diseases

Under the coordination of Dr Rasika Perera, Chairperson of the Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit and under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, the President of Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a medical donation programme was conducted on 09 July 2025 for the benefit of patients at the National Hospital for Respiratory Diseases in Welisara.

During the occasion, the President of the ASVU donated three ICU beds, valued at approximately Rs. 9 million, to the hospital for the benefit of patients receiving residential treatment in Female Ward No. 06.
