SLEME – SVB Conducts Medical Equipment Donation Programme

The members of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLEME-SVB), under the guidance of Mrs. Shyama Hettige, the Vice President of SLEME-SVB, conducted a medical equipment donation programme for disabled personnel on 22 August 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters lecture hall through personal charitable contributions.

Through this programme, 25 individuals, including serving disabled soldiers and family members currently facing medical challenges, benefitted. During the event, 17 wheelchairs, 2 commode wheelchairs, 6 elbow crutches and 1 walker were donated to the recipients.

Members of SLEME-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
