SLSC-SVB Conducts Book Donation Programme

The Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC-SVB), under the guidance of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, Chairperson of SLSC-SVB, organised a book donation programme on 19 November 2025 at the SLSC Auditorium.

A complete set of textbooks required for children entering Grade 1 in 2026 was presented to 30 students. In addition, each child received a school bag and a pair of school shoes.

The inaugural session of the programme was generously sponsored by Major General Nilantha Hettiarchchi (Retd) VSV USP psc Hdmc, along with Mr. Kosala Alagiyawanna, Mrs. Amila Alagiyawanna, Mr. Sumith Fonseka and Mrs. Shyama Fonseka.

Members of SLSC-SVB, senior officers, officers, other ranks and their families were present at the event.
