Dry rations, drinking water, clothes, and sanitary items were donated to the people in the heavily affected areas of Chilaw by “Ditwah”.

The President Army Seva Vanitha Unit initiated a donation programme to distribute dry-ration packs, clothes, drinking water, cooked meal packs, and sanitary items to the affected families on 03 December 2025 in rural areas of Chilaw.

Through this humanitarian effort, and under the guidance of the President Army Seva Vanitha Unit, 1,000 dry-ration packs and cooked-meal packs were distributed, in addition to clothes and sanitary items worth more than Rs. 5 million, with the support of generous donors.

The President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit, the Coordinating Colonel, several senior officers, and other rankers participated in the event.
