The Army Seva Vanitha Unit continued its relief efforts with another donation programme, strengthening support for affected families under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit.
The programme was held on 6 December 2025 at Christ King College, Thudella, Ja-Ela. Each relief package, valued at over Rs. 10,000.00, contained dry rations, cleaning items, bedding sets and kitchen household items. Packs were distributed to 100 families, spending more than one million rupees.
The initiative was supported by the Mahakaruna Buddhist Society – Singapore, the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch and several spontaneous donors.
The event was attended by Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit, the President and Senior member of the Commando Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, Colonel Coordinating Officer of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit as well as Officers and Other Ranks.
