SLEME – SVB Conducts Annual Book Donation Programme

Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLEME-SVB) conducts its annual book donation programme in line with 76th Anniversary of the SLEME on 05 December 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters.

Mrs. Shyama Hettige, the Chairperson of SLEME-SVB graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The programme facilitated the distribution of over 3,395 school children of Army personnel serving in SLEME, worth Rs.4,000,000.00. During the event, 32 children symbolically received book parcels with Rs.2,000.00 cash voucher.

During the programme 62 outstanding students who excelled in grade 05 scholarship examination of 2024 and Advanced Level examinations of 2024 were awarded with scholarships.

Senior members of SLEME – SVB, senior officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civil workers attended the event.
