The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) conducted a blood donation programme at the Regimental Centre of SLSR on 16 December 2025, for the benefit of those displaced by the “Ditwa” disaster.
The programme was conducted by the medical staff from the Regional Blood Center, Teaching Hospital, Ragama. Approximately 110 donors, including members of the SLSR-SVB, senior officers, officers, other ranks and civilian servants, voluntarily donated blood. The event was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, Chairperson of the SLSR-SVB.
