The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP – SVB) provided essential supplies to personnel and families affected by recent adverse weather across the island. Each aid pack contained clothing, medical supplies, sanitary items, baby care products and household essentials, ensuring immediate relief and support. The distributions were conducted islandwide through respective SLCMP battalions to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
In addition, on 02 December 2025, SLCMP – SVB handed over 1,700 water bottles to the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) for distribution among affected communities.
On 09 December 2025, essential items including dry rations, daily needs, water and clothing were also handed over to ASVU for distribution to internally displaced persons nationwide.
