The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC–SVB) conducted a dry ration pack donation programme on 03 January 2026 at the 810 Composite Squadron of SLASC, Pallekele, for SLASC personnel affected by Cyclone Ditwa in Kandy area.
The programme was carried out under the guidance of Major General K.T.P. De Silva RSP ndu psc, the Adjutant General of the Army and Colonel Commandant of SLASC under the supervision of Mrs. Ajantha De Silva, the Chairperson of SLASC–SVB.
During the programme, essential items, including dry rations, bottled drinking water and baby hygiene items, were distributed among the beneficiaries.
In parallel with the distribution, attention was also given to inquire into the well-being of Mrs. Chandima Udaratage, a senior member of the SLASC–SVB, who was affected by the disaster.
Members of SLASC–SVB, along with Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, were present at the event.
