Under the guidance of Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAC – SVB), a project to process coconut husks into usable chips was launched in collaboration with 5 SLAC on 26 December 2025.
Developed as a sustainable fundraising initiative to support welfare activities in the Regiment, the project was researched and implemented with the support of the Commanding Officer of 5 SLAC, ensuring alignment with regimental objectives.
