SLCMP – SVB Conducts Scholarship Awarding Ceremony

The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP – SVB) conducted a scholarship awarding ceremony on 15 January 2026 at 3 SLCMP, Anuradhapura, to support the children of Military Police personnel.

During the ceremony, 32 Grade Five Scholarship recipients received Rs. 10,000 each, along with school bags, books, and stationery, while two students who obtained nine ‘A’ passes at the GCE Ordinary Level received Rs. 20,000 each, with educational materials.

Major General B.G.S. Fernando USP Hdmc psc, Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the SLCMP, Mrs. Iroshini Fernando, Chairperson of SLCMP – SVB, along with senior officers, officers and other ranks, attended the event.
