The Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI–SVB), in collaboration with the workforce assistance extended by 2 (V) SLLI, successfully completed the construction of a house for a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of 2 (V) SLLI, with financial assistance provided by the SLLI–SVB.
The house was ceremonially vested in the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer on 21 January 2026 by Mrs. Darshani Yahampath, Chairperson of SLLI–SVB. Senior members of the SLLI–SVB, the Commanding Officer of 2 (V) SLLI, senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
