New Chairperson of CES Seva Vanitha Branch Assumes Office

Mrs. Aruni Chandrasekara formally assumed duties as the 17th Chairperson of the Corps of Engineer Service Seva Vanitha Branch (CES SVB) on 19 January 2026 at the Regimental Headquarters, during a dignified ceremonial event. Before being appointed as the Chairperson, she faithfully carried out her duties as Treasurer, Secretary and Vice President of CES-SVB demonstrating commitment and leadership.

Upon her arrival, Mrs. Chandrasekara was warmly received by the Coordinating Officer of CES - SVB and assumed duties with religious observance, symbolising blessings. This special occasion was graced by Brigadier Y.K.S Rangika psc ptsc, the newly appointed Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services and Brigadier M.S.D Perera USP ptsc, Centre Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services.

Upholding time-honoured tradition, the newly appointed Chairperson signed the official document marking the formal assumption of office. Senior Lady Officers and Lady Officers extended their heartfelt wishes, offering warm congratulations and blessings as she embarks on her new role.
