The Military Intelligence Corps proudly commemorated its 33rd anniversary on 24 January 2026. In conjunction with Corps Day, a War Heroes Commemoration Ceremony was successfully conducted to honour the brave war heroes who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
As part of the ceremony, the Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC–SVB) presented vouchers valued at Rs. 7,500 each to the families of fallen war heroes, as a gesture of gratitude, remembrance and continued support.
The event was graced by Major General M.J.R.S. Medagoda RSP USP ndc psc IG, Colonel Commandant of the Military Intelligence Corps and Mrs Dilrukshi Medagoda, Chairperson of the MIC–SVB, with the participation of members of the MIC–SVB, senior officers, officers and other ranks.
