SLAOC–SVB Organised a Breast Cancer Awareness Programme

A Breast Cancer Awareness Programme was conducted to enhance awareness on breast cancer prevention, early detection and timely medical intervention, under the guidance of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC–SVB).

The programme was conducted by the Indira Cancer Trust, during which participants received expert guidance on identifying early warning signs, understanding risk factors and adopting healthy lifestyle practices to reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Mrs Nirmalin Wijekoon, Chairperson of SLAOC–SVB, members of SLAOC–SVB, lady officers and other ranks participated in the event.
