Under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a programme to donate medical equipment for the benefit of the Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) Hospital was conducted on 28 January 2026 at the hospital premises.
During the programme, one Large Mobile UV Light Sterilization Unit was donated for the use of the hospital and was formally handed over to the Senior Lecturer in Surgery of the University Hospital, Dr. Chandana R. Karunathilaka.
The programme was conducted with the participation of Senior Officers and Officers.
