Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) donated 20 hospital beds to the Male Surgical Patient Ward of Dambadeniya Base Hospital on 01 February 2026, addressing an urgent requirement of the hospital.
The hospital beds were formally handed over by Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces (East) and Colonel of the Regiment of SLNG, together with Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, Chairperson of SLNG-SVB, to Dr. Amila Maduragoda, Director of Dambadeniya Base Hospital.
Members of SLNG-SVB, senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the donation programme.
