The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), together with Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Nestlé Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, provided refreshments to Tri-Service personnel participated in rehearsals for the 78th Independence Day Parade held from 31 January to 03 February 2026.
As an encouragement to the participants, Newdale milk packets, milkshake bottles and Nestamalt drinks were distributed, with approximately 5,000 beverages provided daily throughout the rehearsal period.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, and Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, President of the ASVU.
