The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB) conducted a donation programme on 05 February 2026 at 2 SLAOC.
The day commenced with a religious observance at Ruwanweli Maha Seya, invoking blessings for peace, prosperity and the wellbeing of all ranks and their families.
Subsequently, school essentials were distributed among 21 children of families of Other Ranks and civil workers. In addition, donations were extended to 5 personnel affected by the “Ditwah” cyclone, while essential care items were presented to two expectant mothers, followed by refreshments.
Major General W.M.S.N. Wijekoon ndc AATO, the Quarter Master General of the Army and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest together with Mrs. Nirmalee Wijekoon, Chairperson of SLAOC-SVB.
