The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAMC- SVB) organised a visit to Ashoka Children’s Home, Anuradhapura on 21 February 2026, in parallel with the 27th anniversary celebrations of 3 SLAMC.
The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Iranthi Dilrukshi Perera, Chairperson of the SLAMC- SVB, reflecting the continued commitment to community outreach and social welfare.
During the visit, members of the SVB and troops of 3 SLAMC extended their support by assisting in cleaning and maintaining the premises of the Children’s Home, helping to create a healthier and more pleasant environment for its residents. Demonstrating compassion and generosity, the organisers also provided lunch for the children and donated dry rations to support their daily needs.
