Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAC-SVB), the "Queen’s Communication and Cafeteria" was officially inaugurated on 19 February 2026, situated prominently in front of the Rock House Camp.
The communication centre was ceremonially opened by the Chairperson of SLAC-SVB. The primary objective of this initiative is to establish a sustainable revenue stream for the SLAC-SVB to conduct welfare initiatives for needy soldiers and their families. The communication centre is equipped to provide essential services, including black-and-white/ colour printing, mobile reload facilities, bill payment facilities and internet services.
