A scholarship donation programme was conducted by the Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) on 25 January 2026 at the Regimental Centre of the Mechanized Infantry Regiment.
During the programme, account books to the value of Rs. 24,000.00 and school supplies, including school books, school bags and other educational materials, were donated to 72 children of MIR personnel to support their higher education.
The event was conducted under the supervision of Mrs. Mahesha Ariyasena, Chairperson of MIR-SVB.
Members of MIR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, civil workers and children participated in the programme.
