GR-SVB Conducts Wheelchairs and Crutches Donation Programme

The Gajaba Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (GR-SVB) conducted a donation programme aimed at assisting war heroes who sustained injuries during military operations and are currently living with disabilities on 02 May 2026 at the Gajaba Regimental Centre.

Major General (Retd) W.D.G.A. Gunasekara USP psc, former Colonel of the Regiment of the GR, together with Mrs. Ramani Gunasekara, former Chairperson of the GR-SVB, made a generous contribution for this initiative.

The donation included 20 pairs of crutches, 4 commode wheelchairs and 7 standard wheelchairs. Symbolic donations of these assistive devices were presented to six selected beneficiaries.

Mrs. Udari Anupama Gamage, Chairperson of GR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
