The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAMC SVB) conducted a scholarship donation programme for the children of serving, retired and deceased SLAMC military personnel and civilian employees on 09 May 2026 at the Regimental Headquarters of the SLAMC, under the guidance of Mrs. Iranthi Dilrukshi Perera, Chairperson of the SLAMC-SVB.
During the event, scholarships amounting to Rs. 750,000.00 were awarded to 15 children who had secured admission to universities, with each recipient receiving Rs. 50,000.00 In addition, scholarships totalling Rs. 450,000.00 were awarded to 18 children of deceased SLAMC military personnel, with each child receiving Rs. 25,000.00.
Members of the SLAMC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
