The Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) conducted a donation programme on 16 May 2026 at Dodanduwa, Galle, under the guidance of Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, Chairperson of SLNG-SVB.
As part of the initiative, Mrs. Udenika Wijesuriya, a member of SLNG-SVB, visited the residence of a soldier serving in the 6th Battalion of the SLNG, whose wife had recently delivered twins.
During the visit, milk packets and other essential items valued at approximately Rs. 14,000.00 were donated to support the newborn twins and the family during this special period.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
