The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP-SVB) conducted a maternity aid donation programme on 23 May 2026 at the Regimental Headquarters, Polhengoda.
During the programme, maternity aid packs were symbolically distributed to 12 pregnant mothers representing a total of 56 beneficiaries, comprising Lady Officers, Women Military Police soldiers and spouses of Military Police Other Rank personnel. Each beneficiary received a set of maternity aid followed by a nutritious lunch.
Mrs. Iroshini Fernando, Chairperson of SLCMP-SVB, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Members of SLCMP-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
