In commemoration of Vesak Poya Day, the Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB) conducted a Rice and Curry Dansela on 30 May 2026 at the Regimental Center of MIC at Karandeniya.
The event was graced by Major General M.J.R.S. Medagoda RSP USP inc psc IG, Colonel Commandant of MIC together with Mrs. Dilrukshi Medagoda, Chairperson of MIC-SVB.
During the programme, more than 3,500 people were served lunch. Members of MIC-SVB, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
