The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC-SVB) conducted an informative session on “Personal Grooming” on 23 May 2026 at the Carey College auditorium.
The event was graced by Major General H.H.K.S.S. Hewage RWP RSP USP psc rcds, Adjutant General of the Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, as the Chief Guest, together with Mrs. Sachetha Hewage, Chairperson of SLAWC-SVB.
The session was led by Mrs. Chandani Bandara, Chairwoman of Forever Skin Naturals. The session was greatly appreciated by the participants as it focused on enhancing self-care, confidence and professional appearance, especially for women personnel who continuously dedicate themselves to demanding duties around the clock.
At the conclusion of the event, all participants were presented with special gifts. Members of SLAWC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
