The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB), together with the Regimental Headquarters of SLAOC and the School of Ordnance, conducted a Vesak Poya Day programme at the Regimental Headquarters on 30 May 2026.
The religious programme included a Bodhi Pooja, sago and jackfruit dansala, and Vesak lantern displays.
Major General W.M.S.N. Wijekoon ndc AATO, the Quartermaster General and Colonel Commandant SLAOC, Mrs. Nirmalin Wijekoon, Chairperson of the SLAOC-SVB, members of SLAOC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and devotees participated in the event.
