The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) conducted an almsgiving programme on 24 May 2026 in front of the Regimental Centre premises for 40 monks from Dewathissa Rajamaha Viharaya, Dehippawa who were on pindapata (alms round).
Furthermore, tea and light refreshments were provided to the monks and the Dhamma school students who assisted the monks.
Mrs. Mahesha Ariyasena, Chairperson of MIR-SVB, members of MIR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
