The Military Intelligence Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (MIC-SVB) conducted a self-employment workshop on cake designing for the spouses of MIC soldiers and women soldiers of the Corps on 20 June 2026 at 5 MIC, Kaluaggala.
The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Kaushalya Samaraweera, a PME Five Star Sugar Artist. Participants received practical training in cake designing, along with valuable insights into entrepreneurship, marketing and business development.
During the programme, gift vouchers were presented to selected beneficiaries. A voucher worth Rs. 10,000.00 was donated to a soldier with a child with special needs, while a civilian employee was given a voucher valued at Rs. 7,500.00.
