The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) organised a special Poson Poya Day programme at Dambulla Cave Temple premises on 29 June 2026.
As part of the programme, a seeni sambol bun dansala was conducted followed by an attractive Poson lantern display.
Major General K.W. Jayaweera USP psc, Colonel of the Regiment of the MIR, Mrs. Chithrani Jayaweera, Chairperson of the MIR-SVB, members of the MIR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and their families participated in the celebrations.
