ASVU Conducts Inspection Visits to Viru Kekulu Preschools

Under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), inspection visits to the Viru Kekulu Preschools in Minneriya, Anuradhapura, and Ipalogama were conducted on 10 July 2026 by Colonel S.M.R.S.G. Asmadala RSP USP IG, Colonel Coordinating of ASVU.

During the visits, Colonel Coordinating observed the teaching methodologies, educational standards and curriculum implemented at the preschools to ensure the continued delivery of quality early childhood education. He also advised the Officers-in-Charge and preschool teachers on maintaining students' academic records while emphasizing the importance of nurturing each child's talents, creativity, and overall development. He further appreciated the children's artwork and creative projects.

The inspection programme also included an assessment of the preschool infrastructure and related facilities. Recommendations were made for necessary improvements and maintenance to further enhance the learning environment and ensure the continued provision of quality preschool education.
